Green Decade Newton

Founded in 1990, Green Newton (formerly Green Decade Newton) is a non-profit working to create sustainable solutions to environmental problems facing our city and our world. Through education, outreach and advocacy Green Newton promotes pollution and waste reduction, resource conservation, renewable energy, high performance building and and sustainable landscaping.

Paul Eldrenkamp was on the Board of Directors from 2004 to 2014, participating as an instructor and coordinator energy efficiency-related workshops and programs. He currently serves on the Board of Advisors. Rachel White is a past member of the School Outreach committee, which helps Newton's schools develop sustainable practices and environmental educational.
